2015 All-American Teams and Individual Awards

Bosa was really hosed this postseason because he was not even on the first team AP All-American team..
Here are the OSU first-team selections so far this season:

Decker (4) – Walter Camp, Associated Press, SI.com, CBS Sports

Bosa (4) – Walter Camp, SI.com, CBS Sports, ESPN.com

Bell (3) – Associated Press, Sporting News, SI.com

Washington (1) – Sporting News

Washington and Bell were first-team selections by the Sporting News, while Decker and Bosa made second team.

This All-American stuff can be confusing, but the NCAA still recognizes five official All-American teams - Walter Camp, Associated Press, FWAA, Sporting News and American Football Coaches Association. Four of those five have been released, with the American Football Coaches Association team coming out Wednesday.

Decker is a consensus All-American while Bosa did not make it because of the AP..Both of them named first-team by the American Football Coaches Association.

Bosa was really hosed this postseason because he was not even on the first team AP All-American team.

The national media circled three prime time games on Ohio State's schedule this season: Virginia Tech, Michigan St, the Big Ten Championship game. Ultimately, Bosa did not play in two of those games and played unevenly in the other. He was never going to win national awards on the basis of wrecking Illinois and Rutgers. It is what it is.
