2017-2018 Ohio State Men's Basketball (24-7, 15-3, #2 Seed in B1G Tourney)

If this team gets to 25 wins and advances a game or two in the tourney, that will be quite a year...and that seems quite likely at this point. If you would have asked me to give odds on either one before the season started, I'd have probably put both at <10%.
25 wins seems likely if things go as they appear likely to. OSU has been overachieving thanks to having just enough talent and the B1G being vulnerable to a surprise team. I'm not sure we can expect a tourney win, though. That may be where the surprise evens out somewhat. They may end up like a 5 seed and should get a good shot at a win but it's hard for me to believe it is destined because a good 12 seed might beat these guys.

kinda hoping that when we play purdue, they don't shooting 20/33 from three like they did today.

Purdue has that potential, but a big reason for the Bucks' success this year is defensive intensity. Entering the Minnesota game, the Bucks were hitting 37.5 percent from three, but giving up a mere 33.6. Carolina obviously tore up the nets, hitting 13-25, and the Zags went 12-25. This team is really playing tough, though, and I don't know if they are going to surrender another shooting performance like those this year. Purdue has 5 guys shooting over 38%, so it will definitely be a test.

I really hope, and even expect, the Bucks will be 12-0 (!) going into that one. These guys have really brought it back in a big way. The B1G being down hasn't hurt too much, though.
