You aren't getting banned man. You are dead on the money with your angst over Jimmy and it does us good seeing some of the thoughts/feelings from the other side without the usual tsun arrogance.

Dawg, I have taken more or less ever free shot you guys have given, and rolled with it entirely. But your mate here? The mod I'm replying to? It clearly ain't good enough for him. I'm not gonna go back and forth with some fake tough guy who has decided his goal is to get me into a fight; especially when he's a mod. If he wants to ban me for saying he's a fugazi jerk trying to get my goat but failing because literally the best he can do is THIS crap? That's his business. But I said it. Buddy is trying it, and failing, and it's pathetic and boring, so I'm done with him and replying to him.

Whatever happens after that is y'alls business. I don't run this board.

Once again, I’d like to point out the attention to detail by @LordJeffBuck.

He started this thread at the stroke of midnight, probably within seconds of the Buckeyes missing that field goal. So as tOSU was about to have a single play decide whether or not they make the CFP Championship Game, he was preparing to start this thread.

Major props on being focused to keep the tradition of instantly creating this annual thread.

And FUCK the Skunkweasel Vulvarines.

I have been here/known about this board for like 17 years. Most are really good and knowledgeable posters. jwin, nfbuck, jax, bkb, lordjeff,mike80, bb73, thump, heisman, bucklion, cinci, and the list goes on along with posters that don’t support the Buckeyes. I actually miss saw31 and buckyle because I always had great banter with those guys. I only had a problem with one and there were several buckeye posters that didn’t like him either. Plus he was a bitch and never donated.

My advice is don’t take things personal, don’t troll, kind of stay away from the buckeye football forum because that is “their” space unless you have something good to say, and be objective. Most fellow Wolverine posters don’t last long because they are idiots or have meltdowns like WolverineMike. This forum can be fun and god damn it seems like every few years a legendary thread pops off that has me in stitches.

You already passed the first 3 steps:

1)- Didn’t sign up with your email address as a username for the possibility of getting Mcneiled.
2)- Haven’t trolled.
3)- had good banter so far.

Follow those rules and you will be fine.

If it helps, I didn't understand it at all; I've read a ton of your threads, particularly the long ones about specific teams and coaches cause I love a good snarkfest, so I've seen a lot of references to McNeil, but I haven't figured it out yet. :)

I figured y'all would understand I was a different kind of Michigan fan when I popped the Tate Forcier avi; not too many of the "whose got it better than us? nobody!" crowd wants to remember Tate's moment in the sun these days lol. :)

There's no way I'm releasing that thread from the BP Dungeon.

In short, back in 2008, some Tennessee fan named "McNeil" (his real last name; he also registered using his real first name and his real email address) decided that it would be a good idea to troll BuckeyePlanet. And not just typical Internet trolling (we can handle that sort of thing easily enough, usually with permabans), but some really nasty comments towards us and our beloved Buckeyes. So we decided that we would dox Mr. McNeil by posting his name, telephone number, street address, email address, and place of employment in a thread that he so unwisely started. Some of our less welcoming members used that information to send "gifts" to Mr. McNeil at his place of employment, things such as pen pal letters from people who have little contact with the outside world, subscriptions to magazines that no one reads, and objects that are rarely seen outside of bedrooms. So "McNeiling" someone became our code word for doxing that person in a very mean and nasty way. Don't worry - we don't do that kind of thing anymore, and you seem like a decent enough guy. Govern yourself accordingly (see below), and you'll be okay.

As you might imagine, Mr. McNeil was not happy; his employer was even less happy, allegedly sending us a letter containing the following: "Mr [redacted] McNeil was fired from my company due to the innapropiate [sic] use of the internet and dragging my personal name and company name in your blog/site."

Mr. McNeil then allegedly hired an alleged attorney to threaten us with "tortuous" conduct toward his alleged client. Instead of the commonly used "Very truly yours" or even a simple "Sincerely", said alleged attorney closed his letter with the rather amusing "Govern yourselves accordingly", which also became somewhat of a saying on BP.
