Not sure how they’d prove it
Well, if it was a document that was supposed to be from 1972 and it was actually created on a modern computer in MS Word using Times New Roman, printed and then photocopied three or four times to distort it…

edit: if you’re not sure what I’m talking about, ask Dan Rather.

Hahahahahahahaha

I mean, holy shit.....

If this were so "dubious"... then why the video evidence of the coaches taking said junior analyst's words and directly translating them to on-field calls?

I'm also looking at it like this; let's pretend Harbaugh didn't "know". Somebody ( the OC and DC) had to verify this little shits work, because they wouldn't just fly off cuff and call a check pre-snap on hunches from a low level staffer. Meaning, at minimum, THEY knew this information and scouting was likely illegally obtained.

At which point, if they suspect a violation has occurred, are they not required to report it? Even then, I'm treating it like receiving stolen property. If you receive stolen property, if there's any evidence to suggest you intentionally and/or willfully ignored where it came from, you can be held criminally and financially responsible along with whomever did the stealing.

Can we explain how this is any different than my example?

I don't want them suspended.

I want them beaten, humiliated, then punished.

Just so there is no doubt that they were never good enough without cheating the way they did.
Seriously though I wanted that too until Dan "i have screamed for Ohio State to get the death penalty twice" Wetzel got involved like "meh. Its a nothing burger" and then tried to launder Michigans response to the B1G which I can only assume was tactically intentionally douche bag on acid to enrage the rest of the conference to overreact.

YOUR BOY DRESSED UP AS ANOTHER TEAMS COACH WITH FUCKING SPY GLASSES ON TO STEAL SIGNS AT AN OPPONENTS GAME SITE

"Junior analyst"

Fuck them in the ear hole

To boot, part of the responsibility of those in charge is to make certain that everyone on staff knows what is and is not permissible. If ponyboy didn’t know it was against the rules, those in charge failed.

And further, part of the job is also to be certain that your staff is in compliance with the rules. The staff’s ignorance or disregard of the rules does not absolve those in charge from those actions.

If an OSU assistant coach is repeatedly breaking “dead period” recruiting rules, it doesn’t matter if Ryan Day knew or authorized. The entire program gets punished and the staff gets punished. In what world is this different?

Fuck these fucks.

Is it too much to hope for this to go to court and judge to allow cameras in the court room? Oh what I do to see this exchange:

B1G Lawyer: Did you make the above statement about the dubious advantage of this cheating and the ignorance of the coaches to this cheating?

tCun representative: We did.

B1G Lawyer: Do you still stand by that assertion?

tCun representative: We do.

B1G Lawyer: Please show exhibit 8.

Video plays of Wyld Stallyns in the ear of OC yelling blitz blitz blitz, followed by OC signaling new play call. Followed by on-field video of tCun executing the perfect playcall against the blitz.

B1G Lawyer then grills the tCun rep about their stance on "dubious advantage" and "other coaches didn't know" assertions.

Repeat for another few dozen instances of Wyld Stallyns giving the opponents signals and coaches calling the perfect counter play.
