It’s an ok deal guys. We were never getting the Assistants too. Only way it could’ve been better is banned from practice too.

However most aren’t taking into account what the head coach does from an organization standpoint on game day. This is a big blow but I expect them to fight it anyways

It's an absolute joke of a "discipline" that does nothing to address past transgressions and very little to punish the transgressors.

I guess the conference is now the Big M and the Little 13.

I should clarify that, in some ways, I'm not disappointed with this non-disciplinary measure.

If Xichigan sued, it would be easy to make the case that the active nature of the cheating meant that the integrity of this season was at stake. This would not have been a hard case to make and this was a feckless, politician's solution. The fact that it was predictable does not make it ok

No real 'punishment' here to speak of. This is simply an attempt at "out of sight, out of mind".

The head coach is still there and able to be effective. But most importantly, the OC and DC, who are IMHO the biggest culprits in all of this, are allowed to continue with their duties.

The big ten can’t do what the NCAA is going to do in the spring. We all knew this was a 2+ game suspension right? The is is acceptable for the time being.

I think you all need to read the big ten’s response. It’s absolutely wrecking Michigan and IMO is putting them on the tee for the NCAA to take care of in a big damn way.

We all thought maybe 2 games? So let’s celebrate because this does matter after reading through.

I just think the B1G has limited options on how far they can go, because they can only address the sportsmanship part, and that area is super gray. I think we should take a step back and breath. What just happened is pretty big by a conference, because typically they stay out of discipline.

A fine would have been a joke. This is probably about as much as they can do without it becoming a full blown legal mess, and basically become futile with court intervention which could take weeks.
