Here is an audio reset by me after 9 beers on my week off! Really it gets me pumped up to here the sounds of that game again.

Living here will slowly drive you insane...or maybe my problems stem from growing up in the same area as JLB...in the one time largest community of brick homes in the world I think. It may stem from me eating that horrible Carrige Hill Farms candy as a youth (inside joke). From Wikipedia
The 1996 NCAA Division I-A football season ended with the Florida Gators crowned National Champions, but not as unanimously as the Bowl Alliance would have hoped. Florida defeated Florida State in the Sugar Bowl, which was the designated National Championship that year. Florida had faced Florida State earlier in the year, when they were ranked #1 and #2, and lost. Were it not for Texas beating Nebraska, then #3, in the first ever Big 12 championship game, Florida wouldn't have even been in the title game. And even once they were there, it wasn't certain a victory would mean a national championship. The Rose Bowl game featured #2 Arizona State and #4 Ohio State. Florida St. and Arizona St. were the only unbeatens going into bowl season, so a Rose Bowl victory would give the Sun Devils a legitimate chance on winning taking the title. This scenario looked plausable as Arizona State's Jake Plummer scored with 1:40 left to play in the game, making the score 17-14. But Ohio State's backup quarterback marched down the field to pull out a heart stopping 20-17 win. On the one hand, this meant the national title game the following night would produce an incontrovertable champion. On the other hand, it left doubt to whether or not Ohio State deserved a stake in the national title, as evidenced by the team's 1½ first place votes in the final AP poll. The Pac 10 and Big 10 could no longer afford to hold onto tradition while the rest of the country wanted a clear national champion. Reading the writing on the wall, they would soon join the national championship series with the other major conferences.

Even drunk as hell I made a little sense right? We should have had a share of the NC. The big ten had been ripped off from a split NC the previous couple of years. Hell just give it to a Florida team or the Cornhuskers. This is why I like the BCS. How many underdogs have went there and handed the favorite their ass in this game? Like we did to Miami! LSU was a big underdog. I'll stop right there before I get myself in too much more trouble. Long story short....war the BCS and Buckeyes! WE WERE ROBBED!

OU screwed up the bcs in 03, and got in over a better auburn team in 04.

but seriously, cooper was fired, woodson is a bust in the nfl... and there is this guy named Troy Smith who will retire with more wins against UM than Cooper.

I reset 97 because of all the big game losses we had in the Cooper years prior to that game...IMO. Imagine the shit I had to eat year after year up here in the festering stentch that is the Ann Arbor area prior to us getting over in this bowl game.

For me It was a huge win...and maybe I'm getting a little old now too...but not any less crazy!

When you click on the link pause the audio.....then as you watch the meter load and it gets well ahead of the round button hit play and you will get to the Herbstreet part where he describes the Jake Plummer score and Buckeye come back. If you don't let the audio load it will be choppy and pause alot.

I'm new using Audacity...I have plans to reset other games and things.

I thought I was giving you guys good sport....It's not the first time I have been laughed at....nor the last.

As far as being drunk...I thought there was great content in there for a Buckeye fan....I could be wrong.

Your probably right on that one. Using the deep computerized voice and the Halloween background was a little over the top. Especially because I'm a newb and you guys don't know me. Just trying to have some fun and come up with some origional content with some old audio clips.
