Pig on a wing
I ran across this the other day while I was searching for something on google. It blew my mind that anyone was that stupid. I thought I would start a thread of all the dumb ass conspiracy theories that people come up with. Please post more, and don't in anyway think that I agree with any thing these fools have to say.

I don't want to copy and paste this into BP, because this garbage is not worthy of BP. This site argues that the U.S. orchestrated the Asian tsunami. It would be quite amusing if they were not serious.

I once saw a site that argued the the government orchestrated 911. It is really scary what people will believe.

You have to add to your list the yahoo and his 'religious' followers who are protesting at funerals of soldiers killed in Iraq. His logic is that God is punishing the US for allowing gays in the military. With everything that has happened in and around the Middle East situatino God is focused on our policy on gays.

It is widely believed in the Middle East that either Israel or the US Government were behind 9-11.

We all know George Bush and his "buddies" have conspired to drive up gasoline prices, right? Yep, the President has managed increase global demand for oil to unprecedented levels (the Chinese were the toughest get on board with the plan!), while forcing OPEC to limit their output (don't let those numerous requests by the US for OPEC to increase its output fool you!), all in conjunction with forcing commodities traders to artificially drive the price of oil on the world market to $70/barrel. Hell, he even threw in a hurricane to boot, and now he's going to release the strategic reserves just to try and fool us...you don't suppose George Bush is the *GASP* anti-Christ, too? :yow2:

I am not one who thinks Bush conspires to drive up oil prices......but I do find it ironic that the prices of gas have nearly tripled since he has been in office. For those that do not understand the market conditions, they blame it on Bush. And his approval ratings will continue to reflect that unless gas prices lower...and he knows that....hence the tapping of strategic reserves.......Fucking liberal media.......always reporting the price of gas on T.V.

Here's a pretty wacko theory:

Is Katrina God's punishment for abortion?

story.gif

In an e-mail message we just received, a group calling itself Columbia Christians for Life alerts us to the fact that a satellite image of Hurricane Katrina as it hit the Gulf Coast Monday looks just like a six-week-old fetus.

"The image of the hurricane ... with its eye already ashore at 12:32 p.m. Monday, August 29, looks like a fetus (unborn human baby) facing to the left (west) in the womb, in the early weeks of gestation (approx. 6 weeks)," the e-mail message says. "Even the orange color of the image is reminiscent of a commonly used pro-life picture of early prenatal development."

And in case you're not getting the point, the e-mail message spells it out in black and white: "Louisiana has 10 child-murder-by-abortion centers," the groups says, and "five are in New Orleans."

Well, someone on these boards a couple of weeks ago claimed that Bush, Cheney and a number of other top government and business officials are members of the Bohemian Society, who meet every July in Sanoma, California to practice Molech worship....which means they would be offering the burnt sacrifice of a live, human child to an idol.

I think that counts as an asinine conspiracy, but that is just me.
