I've been playing golf with one of my buddies a lot this year and have been hooked by his Sky Caddie. I'm a shitty golfer so I refuse to drop money on one for myself so I was searching yesterday for a golf GPS for my blackberry and came across bbgpsgolf. This is a free app for anyone that uses a Blackberry. I tested it against my buddy's Sky Caddie today and it was just as accurate. All of the course GPS info is created by other users so it might not have all of the info that the pay systems have and it doesn't have the graphics unless you count being linked with Google Maps (see sat view of course), but it gives you the distance info you need. Most of the courses I play are already in their system, but I'm going to map a few courses that aren't in the system before I play them again. I'm sure in a year or so most courses will be added.
If anyone has a Blackberry and doesn't have a golf GPS already I recommend installing this.
