Bought: SEASON TICKETS--SERIOUS BUYER

Hi there,

I am interested in purchasing season tickets from someone who has a FULL set of non-student tickets (but would pay for an upgrade if need be). I need all 7 games, 2 tickets to each. I am not partial to the seats, but obviously want to see.

I am a serious fan and a serious buyer. I have done a lot of research on both craigslist and ebay seeing the price ranges, so I'm pretty well informed as to what I am getting into.

This is the first year I will live in Columbus since about 1998, and probably the last opportunity I will have to go to games for quite some time (I am only temporarily here to help with family).

I have a contract made up, and would prefer to pay via paypal but still meet in person to make copies of ID's, etc. I have been scammed in the past, so I want to protect myself.

Please contact me via PM. I am looking to purchase in the next week or so. I am going back to DC on Tuesday, so I'd like to get it done before then. I had something locked in but the seller decided he wanted the tickets for himself.

THANKS and GO BUCKS!!!

Nevermind. I bought a set on ebay. $2010. Not a bad price. If anyone out there is looking for tickets, please keep these sellers under control. If you don't buy tickets for $2500, they won't be able to ask people for that much. I'm seeing an average of around $1800-2300. Which, seeing as the tickets include Michigan, isn't that bad, but PLEASE try not to feed this awful demon. Someone told me they would not accept anything less than $3000! Jesus.

It's all about supply and demand. Most people would rather have their tickets in hand before the season rather than wait to buy them game week. Other than Michigan, there should be tickets for sale for every game during the week of each game.

I think $2000 is outrageous, but if people will pay, then by all means, sell them.

I'm really anxious to see the prices people will pay for the USC game next year. For the right price, I'd sell mine, then just buy from the University the week of the game, just like Texas.

you are talking about close to $150 per ticket per game, which is quite high. However, having the Michigan game at home, and PSU at home at night inflates the price. That being said, you would have probably been better off financially to buy EBAY tickets to each game individually, or paid a scalper on campus.

Uh...are you kidding? Buying for each game individually would cost you way more than $2000 all in all. I mean, most of the smaller games are going for $200/ticket right now and no one knows where they are sitting. And, a set of Michigan tickets are going for $1200 for a pair. I've purchased single tickets for several games during the season in the past 6 years and I would have been so grateful to get them for $300/pair. And, if you factor in the time you'd have to waste seeking out the tickets and the gas to meet people, I'd say $2000 aint bad at all.

I go to almost every home game and other than scuM I have not paid more than 100. Most the time I call the week of the game and get them for face, and sit in A or AA all the time. Last year Wisky was the only one that I did not get for face I paid 100 for, first roll C deck 40 yard line. Now if you want 4 together you will pay, But 1 or 2 no problem. Good luck!!!

If they're selling for $200 a ticket, you should sell YSU, OU and Troy right now. That way, you're only really paying $800 for Minn, Purdue, Penn St and Michigan. Now that's a deal. I seriously doubt those 3 small games are going for $400 for a pair. Maybe 200 for the pair.

The bottom line is you'll be in the stadium for Penn St and Michigan!!!!!

Yep, you're right, I probably should do that, but I'm so into the games, I almost want to go to them all. I am not going to be able to go to the OU game, and I noticed they are selling for about $250-300 on ebay. I have also been watching some other auctions and most of them are ending between $2200-2500. I can't believe people are paying that without even knowing the seats! Mine are going to be in C-deck, but I actually wanted seats there, so it's all good.

I don't know what eBay you're checking, but here are the prices for the OU game:

$163 ending in 5 days
$499 buy it now ending in 6 days (nobody is going to bid for this)
$259 buy it now ending in 2 days
$115 ending in 8 days
$299 buy it now ending in 5 days

That's $81, $250, $130, $57, and $150 each.

I just sold my OU/YSU/TROY games for 70x2 tix. I'm not looking to rip off fellow buckeye fans. I mean who would pay $200 a ticket to those 3 games? I would if it included a dinner with JT after the game, but other than that, its a rip off.

I can pay damn near face value to a scalper on my walk to the stadium day of the game..
