May I ask what occurred that you took her to the hospital in the first place?

My cousin has suffered tremendously from clots, and just wasn't sure if there was any similarity in what transpired.

The clots were caused by a reaction to the hormone used by her birth control.

Not to completely steal Mike's thread, but please keep Mrs. Katt in your thoughts (and prayers, if you're the praying type).

Blood clot developed over the last 3 weeks or so that is now running from her left knee all the way to her stomach. Not being treated surgically at this point, but still scaring the shit out of me. :(
