With how programmed we are to recite the alphabet a-z, I'd fail on the basis of not being able to go backwards. I thought the BACK trumped the field sobriety test? After all, I know there's a fair share of obese individuals that can't stand on one leg for 30 seconds sober.

Bradley Roby Takes to Twitter to Clear the Air About His Arrest
As is well known now, former OSU cornerback Bradley Roby was arrested on Sunday for suspicion of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

As our Kyle Rowland reported, Roby blew a blood-alcohol content of .008, well below the legal limit of .08. At his arraignment Friday morning, the case was continued for April 29.

Naturally, Roby is a bit miffed by the "Roby arrested for drunk driving" headlines without clarifying the fact he blew a .008. (Sources within the Columbus Police Department and the prosecutors office have told Eleven Warriors they expect the case to be dropped.)


Today, however, Roby took to Twitter to clear the air surrounding his arrest:

Re: As reported by WBNS 10TV, the Columbus Police Department have released a 911 call in which the person in the recording speaks to a black SUV that may have been the one Roby was driving.
"Hi, I'm just leaving BBR on Vine and some black Dodge Charger just almost hit a bunch of kids on the sidewalk. And now, the driver is passed out drunk on the side of BBR in black Charger with Georgia plates," the caller states.
Roby hails originally from Suwanee, Georgia in the greater Atlanta metro area.

I suppose we can only guess what his impairment was. However, he did validate the old coaches adage that "nothing good happens after 2 AM".
