Cleveland Browns (2012 season)

I'm a Cleveland fan, my expectations are lowered at birth.

Apparently Honey Boo Boo is entering the draft this year.
If that little bastard drops to the 3rd-4th I might consider a shot
at him. We could use a decent nickel man.

I don't think there's a problem with it, I just wouldn't expect much.

the problem is that if the raiders cut him and he goes on waivers, whoever puts in a claim on him has to pay his rookie contract, which is substantial for the amount of production he gives.

plus, there was that little assault incident last year where he shot a gun.

I don't know, he's a headache and he's really just bad in man coverage. Not bad in zone and he's a playmaker, so there's value there, but I'm not sure enough to warrant the circus.

I don't think its possible to be worse in man then Buster is.
At least he could play in a similar nickel role without being
The giant holding liability and be just as welcomed on special
Teams where he's shown play-making ability.

You are right about the headache. This is all provided he passes
Drug screenings in ths months leading to and after the combine.

Gordon seems to have turned it around. Quiet, keeps his nose clean and
Developing into perhaps one of the organizations better (but risky) picks.
Tyrann might be a slight headcase. I trust our front office to identify that.

So long as they're intelligent enough to draft Boren, I'll be happy.

Another thing about Buster is that he was a good, productive college player, if you keep letting him get beat every week your going to ruin his confidence forever. Let the other young guys play and see if he progresses in practice, if not I'm sure he will be cut before next year.

I didn't know Ray Lewis was available.

Did you see the hour long NFL special on him earlier this year? If there was ever any doubt in anyones mind that he stabbed those two guys, that show will take that doubt and laugh at it. BTW there was one on the great Chris Spielman(hour long special on NFL network) and man was it a tear jerker. GO BUCKS :io::oh::osu::osu::osu::osu::osu::osu::osu::osu::osu::osu::osu::osu::osu::osu::osu::osu::osu::osu::osu::osu::io::oh:

I posted this a couple weeks but to lazy to go and find it but Haden was interviewed and he said that Buster was the fastest and probably strongest DB on the team. He said that he would be a very good slot cover guy.

With regards to McClain, the Raiders organization is a shambles that I don't think they have any idea what they are doing. If I were the Browns, I would do a background check on him and if they can fit him in under the rookie salary cap I certainly would take a flyer on him. They are living very dangerously without any backup to Jackson at MLB.

The one on Barry Sanders next week has me interested, especially since I've met him briefly a couple of times.

I am guessing he will run, run, run against 9 man boxes and then throw, throw, throw when they drop 8 or 9 into coverage. And punt on all 4th and 1s in opposing territory and go for it on all 4th and double digits in his own territory...but not before blowing all his timeouts first.
