OK - here's who I DON'T want the Browns to draft in the first 2 rounds, ensuring their picks...

Peppers - Good Fucking Lord no. NO NO
Watson - game doesn't translate to the NFL, INTs, mechanics, field vision, I could go on. Idiots and the Browns (but I repeat myself) go apeshit over 1 game. Billy Manziel Part 2 without the off the field issues.
Tabor/Wilson - If these guys are so damned good why did Florida suck so?
Humphrey - benefited from great Dline play. Heard that he is the likeliest to bust.
Any RB - Crow averaged 4.88 ypc in 2016 and wasn't used. Why waste a 1st rounder on another?

QB - You want Mitch who played just 12 games but Moneyball folks love him? If you could get Watson in the 2nd round I would do it. I prefer Kizer with #12. You may not think Watson's game translates but given a line and 1 uber receiver and a decent back he torched one of the closest thing to an NFL D for (16) 420 yards & 3 TDs 0 Ints (15) 405 yards & 4 TDs, 1 int.

If he's tossed into the dumpster fire in Cleveland in game 1 with no Oline then he's doomed.. but if he has a line he'll be easily better than Billy.

Mitch as shown at least some ability to hold a safety with his eyes. #1 overall material? Not really.

edit: agree completely on Watson. He isn't Manziel in terms of personal life, but same issues on the field. He didn't torch Alabama, Mike Williams did.

Peppers I wouldn't even sink a mid round pick on.
DB ? If Lattimore falls to the early 2nd its hard to pass.
Kizer scares me. He regressed and you have to ask is it because of (lack of) coaching? The (dearth of) talent around him or he just isn't that good? I can't see putting a 1st rounder into him. Top of the 2nd, maybe.
RB is not something that worries me. What worries me is our commitment to the running game.

BPA for the defense. My preference is Allen because finding an interior player with that kind of ability to push the pocket and disrupt the run isn't easy. Addressing center/Oline depth, secondary and then
finding a few mid round skill players would be nice. Jake Butt might be a scUMmer and coming off injury, but if he can come back healthy, he has next level written all over him.
