Cleveland Indians (2013 Season)

Tigers and CWS tied in the bottom of 11, hope they wear their bull pen out.
Can't count on the White Sox for shit. Lousy bums.

Anyway, rebound to take 2/3, so that's nice. This is the biggest series this team has played since 2007 coming up. The Tigers are (predictably) red hot. They always seem to turn it on after the break. If the Tribe can get at least a series split, that would be a HUGE statement.

Don't fuck it up you fucking turds!

Reynolds still has not hit a HR since June 28......

as a strikeout king with power he at least has to hit HRs....something he obviously is not doing anymore....why is he still being trotted out there?

coming into today, Since June 28.... 6 hits 27 strikeouts 8 walks 2 RBI, awful in a word. OPS decline from .751 to .674, SLG decline from .428 to .369, OBP decline from .324 to .305

Only thing I can think of is that he's one of the streakiest players in baseball, and Tito's counting on him to get hot again eventually. In reality, his AWFUL play hasn't been too detrimental, as they have been winning games.

28-23 the rest of the way gets them to 90 wins. If you would have told me this team would win 90 games in early April, I would have laughed at you. The main competition for the 2nd wildcard appears to be Texas and Baltimore. Texas looks like it's gonna take a hit any day now with the Biogenesis fallout, so it might really only be Baltimore.

Baltimore has a rough go the rest of the way

9 vs Boston
6 vs Tampa Bay
3 vs Oakland

that alone is 18 games against division leaders/wild card leaders, not counting the 3 game series @ Cleveland in early September

Just my humble opinion, it's going to mean a lot to their attendance the rest of the way as well. If they can take it to the Tigers, they will see some fans. If they flop, people will say, no point in going.

The East teams are going to start knocking each other off, and September for us is a joke, so this season all comes down to August. Good start with 2/3 in a trap series, but now they need to put some wins up because they have 15 road games, including trips to LA, Oakland, Atlanta, and Detroit. If they can finish even .500 this month, they will be poised for a good run the final month.

who would have thought Baby Huey suddenly becoming a competent MLB player was the result of juicing?

One of the funniest ways i've ever seen the Indians lose was Baby Huey committing a bases clearing error from 3rd base.....memories
