Well, Hawaii television employees will be physcially safe for yet another week, despite the best efforts of ABC, ESPN, and GamePlan to totally fuck shit up this week. Every year up until this year, ABC has shown The Game here in Honolulu (KITV). Well, as those of you who've read this thread know, ABC in it's infinite wisdom decided not to go the national route this year, but instead show it on ABC in about 70% of the country and on ESPN in the other 30%. Well, I checked the listings for KITV here just in case and children's programming was listed, and when I checked ESPN to see if it's showing it here, they said Hawaii gets Va/VaTech. No problem, I thought, since I have GamePlan. Guess what...GamePlan isn't showing it since it's "available nationwide". After 10 minutes of intense Zen-like deep breaths to keep from dragging out the 50-cal machine gun I stole from the local armory before I retired (you know, I almost wish I was serious here), I checked the KITV website to get a contact number. As I scrolled down the main page to find any type of phone number, lo-and-behold, there's a notice that said that ESPN will broadcast The Game here. Honolulu is safe once again...
