David Brandon YRSOB (brand deflater / email enthusiast / cowardly quitter)

Beth Mowins for AD? Title IX compliant ready.

Edit: My new short list...

Potential replacements for a man who made bad pizza worse and mediocre football a clown show... This is gonna be a tall order, but here goes.

1) Beth Mowins -- that way I can concentrate all my hatred in one place.

2) Ken Lay -- he's got the country club mentality to make a great Michigan Man.

3) Chuck Conway -- KMart CEO. Great experience with turning around a down and out brand.

4) John Sculley -- Has experience with Pepsi products. Can keep the Free Tickets with purchase of a soda promo going!

5) Steve Jobs -- dead, still better than the last two.

6) Angelo Mozilo (Countrywide) can swing a hell of a rate for when they have to mortgage the pig house due to empty seats.

7) Kay Whitmore (Kodak) another with great experience in redirecting dying brands. And M is a brand, or so says David Brandon.

8) Bike Hart -- he knows little brother when he sees him.

9) Jim Tressel -- the guy who started this mess in the first place. Now he just needs to finish what he started.

Yep. Herbie engages in that kind of immaturity but there's a world of difference between being an ESPN cartoon character and an athletic director.

but not that much difference between being an ESPN cartoon character and an athletic supporter

a willingness to smother yourself in balls everyday is the key factor for success in both
