Seeing a rangy, athletic kid play DB for Colerain can't make me help but think of Eugene Clifford on film in HS. But really his game seems a bit different. Plays the ball in the air as well as I have seen, phenomenal closing speed, and really flips his hips seamlessly in coverage. Fantastic cover corner that can man up in coverage but I see enough physicality to play FS as well. Coombs has to be chomping at the bit to get this kid in his room and I am too. Just way too good to pass up even with the prospects we are in on.

Amir is a little smaller than Gene but way more physical and I would say he is faster. Gene was taller with phenomenal instinct which made him a good safety.
It's the intangibles I like most about Amir. He loves to play football they way Tyler Moeller loved to play football. I will be curious to see how all of the new attention affects Amir if at all. Colerain will be really good again this year and with St. X and LaSalle in the non conference schedule they will be tested.

I like this guy. Urban probably likes the way he plays checkers.
