Chargers HC Brandon Staley said LB Joey Bosa (foot) is likely headed to injured reserve.
Even though the Pro Bowl pass rusher avoided structural damage after x-rays came back negative on the afflicted foot, it appears as if he will miss the next four games, at minimum, with a foot sprain suffered early in the team’s Week 11 loss to the Packers. In what is quickly becoming yet another lost season for the Chargers, it would appear to make the most sense to place the veteran linebacker on injured reserve to let his foot heal fully.
