DE Nick Bosa (Pro Bowl, All Pro, 2019 ROY, 2022 DPOY, San Francisco 49ers)

That's something you knock on wood for after you say it, but are thinking "Why the fuck would I say that out loud" afterwards. Nick is going to want to line up across from him all game now.
Nick and Chase are also going to be awkwardly obliterating his backside, knees, etc during their forty meetings at the QB. Not an awesome choice.

Look, my advice to Tariq is just put it on the line. Look Nick Bosa straight in the face and call him a pussy. Get right into his grill and let him know that you are not worried. Ask him! "Did you hear me, pussy?" I guarantee you that it will never be recorded that you allowed Nick Bosa to sack your quarterback.

I should add that Ohio State has an excellent sports medicine unit the the University Hospital. Six or eight months and you'll be good as new.

And when someone asks how it felt to see a future Hall of Famer sack your quarterback, you'll be able to say that you lined up across from him and can't recall that it ever happened.

No joke. I went back and watched the first game, and they were literally meeting at the QB at almost the exact same time. And if someone comes in to spell one of them, it's freaking Jonathan Cooper. No break for opposing tackles on either side.

Going back to his heisman odds, the award has become stale. I anticipate there being more buzz for non-QB/RB candidates in the future to generate more excitement. I sense an overall fatigue of seeing QB's win it. I think 15+ sacks and 5 FF's sends Nick to NYC, especially if he puts up numbers in the big games.

People have said that for the 35 or so years I have been watching CFB

It's a QB/RB award

it is what it is
