When RR was fired He held a team meeting and took the team on his back, his message stay hungry and keep fighting together as team no matter who the new coach is we have eachother and we can do this together.

"Except when we're losing in big games, then you all can continue the fight without me as I sit on the sidelines." -Denard

You mean the eating thing that he did vs Michigan to directly make fun of Denard doing it? That eating thing?

As if that makes it better. If a TSUN kid did the same he'd be ROASTED here. All I'm saying is I didn't like the feed the dog thing either but it doesn't actually make the kid a bad guy.

I completely disagree. If for example a Michigan player did what some of our players do, such as throw up a block "O" then sure, that'd [censored] me off. But if one of our players did something as dumb as feeding themselves, i wouldn't care one bit, and maybe even find it amusing because guess what? It's dumb.

So is your opinion of Carlos Hyde changing because of the eating thing too?
Not really, but then I never viewed Hyde as a particularly classy guy that rivals should respect. Much like seeing Bryant taunt Michigan with the eating thing doesn't really change anything, it fits with his general demeanor.

I don't think Denard is a bad guy either. The "soils" line summed it up well.

Whatever, folks here would absolutely hammer a kid for it. Again, I like Hyde and all but sheesh we seem to be a bit over the top about anything non Buckeye.

and all through the "stuff it in my mouth" gesturing, there was an OSU player lining up across from him playing, basically, on one leg because his team needed him in a big game.

1. Keeping a player in a game is not necessarily a positive. In the case you mention you seem to be saying it's good to put a possible NFL career on the line to play hurt. Allowing a pro, or asking a pro, to do that is one thing. Asking an amateur to do so is an entirely different matter. 2. The collective assumption seems to be that Robinson took himself out of the game. The choice may well have been Hoke's since he knew his running game was going nowhere and would need to pass and also knew that Robinson had put the ball on the ground a series earlier. 3. Like him or not, Like Michigan or not, Robinson put up impressive career numbers playing approximately the same level of competition that Ohio State played. I don't see how you can knock his record without demeaning the Buckeyes at the same time.
