"most people can predict without a problem who will fill up the remaining 5 or 6 spots remaining. This has been the most predictable ending I've ever seen. Of course watch Barksdale go to LSU and Martin go to ND and make me look silly. But I think OSU will end up with Wright, Martin, Barksdale, Allen, Gronkowski, and Davis and call it a class. Nothing solid just IMO." Unionfutura 2006

That little tidbit came from UF as well.

LOL Hey blame JT for not closing...

I totally trust the staff and their approach for our future QB. Nick Montana would be an amazing pick up!! But the guy i want is Braxton Miller, I think he could be something real special! That 2011 class of quarterbacks is sweet, especially at the top with Miller, Golson and Bridgewater! GO BUCKS!!!

And Gardner will be running Pat White's offense in Michigan....assuming their coach is still there. I realize the schollie limit put an end to signing kids just to keep them away from other schools, but.....

Like I said, Montana better be worth it.

I took heat in these threads awhile back for stating these same things....heard a lot of "trust the coaches yada yada yada..." "some fans are retarded yada yada yada..."

I guess when you are a moderator its all good LOL

 is right. 27 is a good friend on this site but hardly someone above reproach (about like myself). But I guess if it makes you feel better, you can think that 27's role as gaming forum moderator earns him special treatment. :roll2:

Never mind the fact that these two had the exact same response with no direct disagreement either

I agree. If we lose out on him AND Gardner it could come back to bite us. Miller is still too far out to put the focus on him.

I'm starting to feel that way too. Hope this doesnt bite us

that's being discussed in nick's thread, which you probably saw before you posted in it. 22 chimed in with his take as well as UF.

I always laugh when people think I'm a real moderator on this site. If there was a survivor for moderators, I'd be first off the island. I'd be the nerd who doesn't know how to catch fish or start fires.

I think it is important to differentiate between opinion and information.

Wright, Martin, Barksdale, Allen, Gronkowski, and Davis

Now, that was a solid group of recruits. Wright has emerged as the big time hitter like everyone envisioned. Barksdale and Davis are now a starters on the OL. Heard great things about Gronkowski this past season. Martin received high praises before getting injured. Not sure about Allen, but he could be providing depth at CB as well. Everything fell apart so fast for the team and for recruiting after the new year.

at one point all those kids had OSU out in front. Wright and Gronkowski were probably the biggest stretches. But the other kids I'm quite confident about. Of course Barksdale had everyone out front which everyone knows about.

Davis was viewed as an eventually. People were highly optimistic with Martin and Wright. Gronkowski came out of nowhere and suddenly word began to spread that he was OSU. Nobody had a clue on Barksdale til his name popped up on LSU's student directory.

this is the player that Michigan most needed in their 2010 class in my opinion.

Tate Forcier and Denard Robinson are the only QB's on scholarship that really fit Rod's system. The other two, Nick Sheridan and David Cone, really don't belong on scholarship at Eastern Michigan let alone U-M.

Awesome pick-up, but IMO Michigan still needs at least one more QB.

I'd call Gardner at Terrelle Pryor Light. He's not as good as Pryor (then again very few ever have been) but as a pure prospect he's one of the better dual threats that I've seen over the past 5 years or so.
