I was thinking about this earlier today. Would you rather lose to GT in the final four and see them go on to win it against Florida. Or beat GT and lose in the NC game to Florida? I like the first option myself but f it I want to play U of F.

I don't see the need to avenge our in-season loss... probably much like their fans wrt Vanderbilt. If OSU wins the title, who cares what happened in season?

OTOH, the FB loss still stings and is in bigger need of revenge, imo.

I take the first option, cheer on a classy GT program, and welcome Greg back after the Hibbert matchup convinces him to stay another year :wink:

I want a rematch.
If we win: I can finally say something to all the trash I get from UF fans.
If we lose: I get a little more.. but not that much more, as I already get a lot.

Plus, I absolutely want Oden to dominate Noah. Even if it means him leaving to the NBA. I want Noah to try and dunk on him, and get Odenated. Repeatedly.

i want florida. and i want to beat them soundly. the team has faced them and improved immensely since then plus if you want to be the champ you have to beat the best of the best so if its UCLA or florida i really dont care....either way i want them. sure we take a dump if they would lose to fla in the championship game but we could take a major shat on them if we got retribution on them.

I think what I said came out wrong. I wasn't trying to call you out. I'm just trying to get us pumped. We have some great players. We should want to take on anyone anywhere. Florida's good but I want to beat them. Plus, Florida fans already say we're their bitch.

The rematch I'm most interested in seeing is on the gridiron.

Definitely but we could kill 2 birds with one stone if we beat Florida.

Should we beat GT, I'd want to play Florida. It would be revenge for the University as a whole, but wouldn't erase the pain from 1/8, just give tOSU fans to claim.

Then again, I don't have many obnoxious gator fans in my area, so i wouldn't have to deal with much personally.
