Senior Bowl:

I?ve got some ground to make up since my last entry, and I?ll start with my experiences at the Senior Bowl and the Combine. The Senior Bowl was hectic. All the players had to do four hours of psychological and aptitude tests when we first arrived, and like many of the guys, I was tired from the long flight to Mobile. Once daily practices started, the routine became practice, shower, dinner, then meetings with the scouts until around 10:30 or 11:00 pm when I would make my way back to my room. The food in the cafeteria was okay, but the best dish I had all week was the seafood Cobb salad, which my roommate, fellow Buckeye Doug Datish, and I had delivered to the room more than once.

Gone fishin': Pitcock won't watch draft

The whirlwind days leading up to the NFL draft remind Quinn Pitcock of the time when he was a hotshot high school prospect at Piqua, but with a new twist.
Although stressful at times, the recruiting process at least allowed him to determine his fate. But his future now is somebody else's hands.

Piqua's Pitcock to Colts; Smith, Pittman still waiting

The Indianapolis Colts selected Ohio State defensive tackle Quinn Pitcock in the third round with the 98th pick overall, but the NFL draft provided him with some motivation for his rookie year.
The Piqua native had gotten so agitated about being overlooked that he showered and left his house three picks before he was taken. A few minutes later, the Colts were calling his cell phone.

The Colts run a cover 2 (4-3). That's actually a much better fit for Quinn, unless he moved to DE in a 3-4. At right around 300lbs he's not big enough to play NT, and from everything that I've heard, Quinn has no intention of getting bigger.
