Fantasy Football Advice

I totally disagree with the other poster about the Indy D. Their D is horrible and CJ could have a decent game and I can see Tenn getting 25-30 points in a shootout.

I'd roll with Jax D or San Diego. San Diego's D is better, but at Pitt is scary, so I'd grip tight and hope the Jax D can hold down one of the worst offenses in the NFL.

As for WR, Denario Alexander all day long. He's been money the last 4-5 weeks and Blackmon could end up blanking - something you can't risk in a playoff. I think Denario is good for at least 7 points in standard scoring (or 70 in your league, :wink2:). I like a very good #2 WR against a better D - less attention and more targets.

Im going to bench Alexander this weak. River is junk and Pitt 1st against the pass. only if I get starks or Woodhead from wire ? whatta think

for flex have St Johnson (if he plays) and Welker with BJE and Rice RB

I'm either between Jacksonville's D against Dirty Sanchez or
Tampa's D against Philly.

Something is telling me to go with Tampa at home. I have a feeling
they'll get a pretty large amount of turnovers.

While at the same time, after Dirty's 3 INT vs Arizona, I think they'll
run the ball until facing 10 in the box just to keep from throwing.
Plus if McCelroy (spell check) comes in, he's looks remotely servicable.
Which scares me.

edit: Looks like Ike Taylor is out two games. Makes me a feel a bit better about starting Danario.

Tampa isn't a bad choice. They'll give up points, but as you said they should get 2-4 turnovers and possibly a defensive score. Tampa's run D is pretty decent and maybe they can slow down BB - if Foles has a bad day...

My standard team is really in a bind this week. I need to pull off a really good game to win my matchup (a guy who had a rough start, but made some good trades heading into the playoffs).

My problem is LeSean McCoy being out. I picked up Hillman when everyone thought he was the sure fire starter and that killed me. Now I picked up Alex Green (since Starks is done) and Montell Owens - whom I know nothing about.

I also need to figure out my 3rd WR position.
Here are my options...
D. Alexander vs Pitt - possibly
Maclin vs Tampa - I'm leaning this way b/c of the matchup...
Bowe vs Cleveland - not gonna start him against Haden

My biggest mistake this year was trading LeShore away... I thought his value had peaked, I was wrong.

Here's the matchup (since I'm bored): Am I fucked?

My team - His Team:
Manning - Dalton or Freeman
Dez - Welker
Julio - Andre Johnson
Maclin? - Crabtree
Foster - Peterson
Owens - B. Brown
Rudolf - V. Davis
S Graham - Vinatieri
Seattle - Houston

You should be fine, but I would go with Danario.

Tampa is (statistically) #1 against the run I believe. Making an offense that one dimensional bodes well. If Tampa can give me 25-30 points and a couple turnovers, then that's all I can ask for.

Pick 1 WR: Malcom Floyd vs. Pit, Dwayne Bowe vs. Cleveland, Kendall Wright vs. Indy, Josh Gordon vs. KC, Santana Moss vs. Baltimore

Pick 1 Flex: Those listed above, McFadden vs. Denver, Reece vs. Denver

I'm not too confident in starting McFadden or Reece...#1 they'll be splitting time & #2, Denver's rush D is pretty good.

Currently I have Julio Jones, Gordon & Wright starting. Thoughts?

I'm thinking Josh Gordon on a hunch. I hate Dwayne Bowe and Floyd this week.

And I'm not touching Reese or DMC unless there's a report that DMC is gonna carry the full load.

Maybe Moss or Floyd in flex (even though I hate the matchup for Floyd).

Looks like I have round two coming up in both leagues next week (whew!).

My day started out rough in the PPR league with ATL's rough first half. I was down 65 to 19. Then Matt Ryan turned in a respectable 2nd half and Roddy White did well, getting almost all the yards towards the end. The guy I'm playing is going to be pissed because he was beating me all day until Nicks and Lynch got nearly simultaneous TDs which put me up and then Graham added on a late 7 points. He'll have the 2nd or 3rd highest total in the league and I'll have the first (unless Brady and Finley get 40 points tomorrow - not likely).

In the standard league I'll say one word - SEATTLE.
Okay a few more words - I have an outside possibly lose this game. I'm up 30 points and still have Arian Foster and Shane Graham to play tomorrow. He has Welker and Andre Johnson. Oh, Montell Owens came through for me big time!

Into the semis for me this week, but have tough decisions. May as well just ask about everything:

Starting:

Brady over Rivers

A Johnson
C Johnson
H Nix

S Jackson
D Sproles

C Harbor over Pettigrew

Pretty solid on all those, but that leaves me with one Flex position open:

Bench:
LaMichael James....seems to be getting some love
Anquan Boldin
Beanie Wells
Malcolm Floyd

Thoughts?
