The biggest drop off will be from a physicality standpoint. Brown could hit like a ton of bricks, the other corners are about 20 LBS smaller than him. Not to say that they can't cover, but I'll be interested to see them come flying in to take on Beanie Wells at the thighs.

I think he will hold his own, but he obviously will get beat a couple of times. Hopefully, it will be for 2 twenty yard first downs, and not 2 forty yard TOUCHDOWNS !!

There sure is a ton of optomism about a QB who beat NORTH TEXAS. I'm interested in the other kid they have, Snead, since McCoy had to fight to beat him out this offseason. Texas must be LOADED at QB...................

Ok, another simple weather report.

Spent a few years at Ft. Hood (72 miles from Austin) and it will be warm at game time. Humidity is variant. JT is correct in hydrating the boys here first before deployment. Not a lot to really worry on the climate change as altitude does not factor and our conditioning will be up to speed- the night will cool anyway.

This aint no Florida heat at this time of season.

Looks like a typical summer day in Ohio to me........ Granted it will be warmer there than it is here......but it's not like our guys are coming from Alaska to play ball on Saturday.

I've said it once, I'll say it again. The heat may hurt Texas defensively more than us, because they have injury issues and Brown's suspension.

I'm sure he'll do well, but you can't replace the tackling ability of Brown, the guy can flat out hit.

I'm kinda shocked that y'all Longhorn fans are going so crazy over losing Brown. When it came out, I heard someone say that they were wondering if the odds/line on the game was going to change.

We lost Bobby Carpenter ONE play into the michigan game last year and still ended up winning. This is going to come down to our passing O vs your D and your running O vs our D. About as even as it could be.

Gonna be a hell of a game on Saturday. I'll probably wet myself prior to kickoff I'm so pumped for this game
