Illinois lacks serious leadership. Webber was a good coach it wasn't his fault these teams have failed.

It was his fault because these were his players. Webber is a bad recruiter and can only win when other coaches stock the roster for him. K-State will regret having hired him 5 years from now.

My thoughts exactly. The referee was not the one who blew that play.

I'm sorry but I completely disagree. Never give up a free 2 points give them a had foul going after the ball and make him earn it at the stripe. +he slapped the freaking ball when he got the arms i'm not sure how you could possibly make the argument he wasn't going for the ball. It's a clean smart play that I've seen a million times and 99% of them result in a foul and nothing else. The ref let the bench get to him plain and simple. If he would of bothered to go to the monitor I doubt he would of made that call.

I doubt it since he won their first regular season title in many many years. It's not like KSU has high standards.

Just finished watching the game on the DVR since I was at work. Dan was really on a roll with his commentary I thought, especially in the first half. Calling out the old people behind the bench, I was practically rolling.

Good win, now its time to get things done in the BTT.

It's the team that Frank Martin put together, though - don't think that factor isn't going to be forefront in the minds of Weber doubters five years from now. Weber only gets partial credit for this team. The ones that he puts on the court in the coming years are going to be what define his tenure in Manhattan.
