As for TCU, I think it helps that they were 75th against the pass, while tOSU was 28th.

And TCU's defensive coordinator retired recently. Although, the game between tOSU & the Nike Ducks probably won't have much of an impact.

Jared Mayden - One of the Most Sought After Recruits in TX

Mayden made one of those tough decisions a couple of months ago when he released an early top five of Baylor, Ohio State, Oregon, Rice and TCU. The list made titanic waves around recruiting circles.

While plenty can change, Mayden says he is focused on learning more about these five schools. He made an unofficial visit to Ohio State in November to watch the eventual national champions take the field and was blown away by his experience in Columbus.

"My trip to Ohio State was great. I actually went down there for the Michigan game," Mayden said. "It's a big rivalry so the game was sold out, and there were fans everywhere. It was a crazy atmosphere. I got to talk to Coach (Urban) Meyer, and I had a really good conversation with him. I really liked it."
