I saw a tweet maybe last week or so, saying OSU can't confirm or deny any pro combat uniforms

so I dunno what's going on

This year's new thing is the shiny helmets Oregon, UNC, MSU, etc wore this year.

The 2012 Rivalry shirts you see in stores like Buckeye Room or Buckeye Corner are called 'foil'.

So, I wouldn't be surprised that our 2012 'tribute' costume would include a shiny helmet look.

My two cents.

The diamond plate helmet had been covered/debunked previously but that's the first time I've seen the jersey with stitching gone wild sleeves.

We are. The helmets will be a "chrome" look, but the same as what we currently wear. The uniforms will be a "tribute" to the 2002 team, whatever that means.

I think it means the unis will have an image of Glenn Sharpe hugging the midriff.

Or maybe the jersey's will feature handles on the back for easy grabbing by the weasels.

Sounds about right. All of the Nike shirts and hats have a chrome feature to them this year.
