Jimmy Clausen (Baltimore Ravens)

Didn't bother watching the game, never cared all that much for Clausen, but I guess he did alright. Heard he only went 23-39, but there were several drops by the Bears receivers too I guess.

He actually did look decent. As for the relatively high percentage, even though there were several drops, that was mostly due to the passes he had. I swear half of his completions were screens. Probably 20/23 were less than 10 yards it felt like.

As for that hit, it was actually more very unfortanate timing. That was by Ansah, that African player from BYU who's never done anything malicous before. You can kind of see it from that short clip, but it happened because JIMMAH slid late and Ansah was already going in for the tackle before he started the slide. Would have been a regular tackle to the waist if not for the late slide.

I mean....good for him for standing up for himself I guess, but what was he going to do there besides act like a tough guy knowing nobody was going to do anything back to him.

Yeah, who knows, it's likely that Jimmy thought the hit was intentional when it wasn't. He's kind of a d-bag though, so his karma was probably asking for the hit.
Still, never like to see someone get hurt, and it sounds like Clausen is back to the bench this week with a concussion, so the Bears will be trotting Cutler back out there.
