I understand your all's point it's a valid one. Success to him is how well they can show case him in the "NFL SEC division." Obviously, with college football the NFL will find you if you are good and show cased well, it doesn't matter what team your on (Eric Fisher) or even at UK (Tim Couch/Dewayne Robertson).

The dilemma Harris is now facing is UK has a really crowded backfield if you actually look at their roster (took Horton last year also). And this is a team who is installing the "air raid."

"Good and showcased well" would come down to scheme. Maurice Clarrett has said that this is the most important thing for a talented running back. The scheme Meyer/Herman have implemented the past couple years has been very conducive to talented RBs.

To both Poe and Buckeyeguy, if Harris were to go to UK, I don't Dee Stoops sticking to the air raid. He would try to focus on showcasing Harris as much as possible. Whether in the passing but primarily in the run game. Remember, he's working with a rather young team and o line, and its easier to run block than pass block. And even though UK may have a crowded backfield, uh, so does OSU. Let's not act like hell come to OSU and automatically be in the 2(or even 3) deep.

Of course Stoops would abandon the Air Raid and pound it on the ground. We all know that when you pass, three things can happen and two of them are bad. You pound it down their throats until they stop that play and then you run around the edges. Quite simple, really......Go Bucks!

RB Damien Harris measures UK on more than wins
"Improvement would obviously be nice, but at the same time — and this is a big shock (to) people — wins and losses next year aren't going to determine whether I go to UK or not," Harris told The Courier-Journal this week. "If they win 10 games, that'll sit the same way with me as if they win four or five.

"The win-loss column isn't going to determine much. It's just how much I grow with the coaching staff, the players, the environment the next couple months. That'll be the ultimate deciding factor."

Scout Video $ - Post Game Damien Harris

8/23

By Berk.....Had a slow start, but then broke loose for TD runs of 75 & 51 yards. Working on setting up visits. Breaks down his top 5 & what he likes about each program. Mentions being close with Coach Meyer, Coach Drayton, Coach Hinton, several players and how he loves the atmosphere at Ohio State.

I'd love nothing more than landing Harris as it would kill two fan bases with one recruit - scUM and Kentucky's who are growing to be incredibly demented.

Watching their team have yet another winless conference record and not make a bowl game would deflate UK's fair weather fans for the most part and send them back to waiting for basketball season by November.
