Between us and Florida in my opinion with the momentum on our side right now.

Also look out for Vaughters. If Harbaugh leaves, which I think he will, we will have an excellent shot at him.

Uh, how do you figure that we have the momentum over Florida? Muschamp is assembling a very good coaching staff, he's a top notch recruiter, he's a defensive minded coach, coaching in the best conference in CFB. If anything, we're even with UF they have just as much to offer as we do. I would like to see Grant here, but wouldn't be surprised in the least if he went elsewhere.

Not GB but I think what he means is our staff have been recruiting Curtis for an extended period of time while Muschamp has to start cold while putting together a staff. Florida can still change it all with a good visit.

*Wish is Grant-ed?...A few year's back, a much more aggressive Mr. B was interviewing Devon "The Hope" Lyons on the Bucknuts Radio Hour. I was polite and appropriate on the air but off the air I asked him, "Hey, with a week to go Devon, just tell me: are you going to be a Buckeye". He laughed me off and then asked if we were covering his presser the following week? I told The Hope that we would have a tough time getting to Pittsburgh unless we knew it was "worth it" for Ohio State fans. He thought a moment and said, "It will be worth it". Gotcha! So, my inside guy spent the week with Curtis Grant in San Antonio and he caught him coming off the field. My guy says, "Curtis, you know I am a big Buckeye fan. Will I be happy on announcement day" Big smile from Curtis: "I hope so, man, but "officially" I just don't know". Bigger smile. We'll see who got who on that one?

What's your reaction to this story fellow BPers?
That it reads like a juvenile smack board thread, like most of his "articles".

That was not much of a scoop, particularly given how many times these kids have placated every recruiting website, let alone those who simply play the game and tell everyone what they want to hear.

At times i enjoy reading his stuff. I read it mostly as filler material and think of it as an honest attempt at wit, humor, and general information. There is sometimes interesting things found in his stuff but he often over reaches or seems to try to hard -but- he has the articles and is paid to write them while I am the one reading them.
As to the question asked to Grant. I would read little into it other than a friendly side step to a question that put him into an akward situation. Maybe he becomes a Buckeye maybe not, but this sheds little light on his position.
