LB Raekwon McMillan (New England Patriots)

they are only recruiting one middle linebacker this year. everyone know who he is. until they recruit differently, it's safe to peg Raekwon as IN.

Imo, you can't peg him as in until he's signed on the dotted line. With Alabama (and even clemson) still in the mix, I wouldn't assume anyone as in just yet. Especially a kid from the south

Recruitment has been real tight to the vest. I'm assuming he's signing one of the new mid year agreements as well. I'm still feeling confident about him in this class. A future nickel LB tandem of Raekwon ad Dante will be crazy. Then throw in maybe Sam Hubbard or mike Mitchell on the other side and were causing OC nightmares

The one thing I'm scared about is, if 'Bama and Free Shoes go undefeated and we are left out of the NCG. In that scenario, will that impact us negatively? That could do to our recruiting, what the 1961 Rose Bowl non-visit did to us.

edit: Still a lot of football left to be played though. Hope someone other than us stumbles.

Is said LB rated above or below Mr McMillan, if the answer is below, Bama is still lookin for a MLB

I'm pretty sure the kid is rated below Raekwon, but we're talking about alabama here, they'd go after Raekwon regardless and still fit him into this class. I would never rule Alabama out with any recruit they're going hard after, especially since they'll continue to be in the NC chase for the foreseeable future, and fit in as many recruits per class that they want.

Nick Saban insists that the time spent preparing for the NC game inhibits recruiting. He would know I guess, so the joke's on them. Haha.
