This solves a little mystery for me. I attended bowl practice back in December and overheard John McCallister speaking with a kid about being "his" safety and that no one knows about him yet. I thought I heard him call the kid Jared. Spent some time since then on scoutingohio looking for someone that matches the recruit we saw. Height/weight seem to match the mystery kid. I bet this was the kid.

If his stats from scoutingohio are correct, it's pretty ridiculous that he only got Honorable Mention for the district with 8 INTs.

Just read a story yesterday from 247 that he and Corey Smith are going as a packaged deal to whichever team they pick. Not sure how often that tends to be true come 6 months from now.

Wilson was offered by Michigan today, and apparently him and Corey Smith are visiting there this weekend. This is according to MGoBlog.
