Well, he probably still has some other offers: and Harbaugh did give him a "safety net": Coach Harbaugh told my mother quote 'if Matthew comes to Michigan, he will not be able to play football.' But they would pay for my college education for academics.

Just sayin': I can't really knock Harbaugh for this. Harbaugh probably can name a couple dozen guys he knew in the NFL that has had multiple knee surgeries and are having a hard time even walking now. This is similar to the Jamel Dean situation at Ohio State, and Harbaugh did offer him an academic scholarship.
