Be careful with a guy like Schiano. I'm not saying he can't win without a heisman caliber back (Ray Rice), but we haven't seen it yet. In the early 90's everyone thought Curley Hallman was going to be the next great coach, because he was winning at Southern Miss, and looked like an offensive mastermind. Well, when he got to LSU, he didn't look so bright without Brett Favre as his QB.

The link below is to a gambling forum, but there are a couple of Michigan insiders who provide pretty accurate and timely info in regards to the coaching search. Also interesting to read the bad-mouthing these insiders post about Ohio State. Just thought everyone would like to see what those arrogant, jealous bastards at UM really think. By the way, I'm D-dogg on that forum........

Um yeah, better be a bit more clear. Is that the Head Coaching job (men's football) at Michigan? Or just some custodial position you're turning down? Don't think we're going to give you any wiggle room on this subject. We want an iron clad statement regarding this matter.

Considering the clean up job necessary to turn that program around I'd say they were one in the same. :wink:
