Here is how I see it. We don't know what really happened. All we got was one side of the story. Dana very well might be a nice guy, but he is an egomaniac. Half of the show was him in big meetings, or in private jets and Ferraris.

Tito is still a very good fighter, and lost to arguably the best 205er in the world.
good post. Tito isn't a bitch. Dana is such an asshole, the entire 90 minutes was all about him. That is not a coincidenc, as he is a classic ego-maniac. Seems like Tito just wanted Dana to waste time training, getting a license, etc. then say fuck it just forget it. Imagine how much time Dana wasted for nothing, that probably made Tito more satisfied than punching Dana in his bald head.

5-26-07 UFC 71: Chuck Liddell vs. "Rampage" Jackson. Will be interesting to see if Chuck is rusty after the injury and the longer than usual layoff. Thought Dana would give Rampage another warm-up fight to build more of a US following before setting up the rematch. Josh Burkman vs. Karo Parisyan the only other fight on the card as of now.

The thing I took from the show:

Tito embarrassed Dana in front of the Nevada gaming commission. Dana got payback by embarrassing Tito on national television.

I hope this doesn't turn into some WWE bullshit.

i think that is pretty close to the truth there. what likely happened is dana and tito agreed to a fight with tito thinking it was going to be a low key type thing. word got out and people wanted to watch. dana saw a chance to make money off getting his face pounded (if your gonna get your ass beat... you might as well make some money to cover the surgery right?). tito didn't like something with the money bit and pulled out. likely after alot of argueing between the two which likely completely fell through right after dana talked the gaming commision into sactioning the fight.

after all the work and money dana put into it getting in shape (as it were), promoting, getting his ass in a sling with the gaming commision etc... he likely said ill be damned if i go through this for nothing.

i think its pretty obvious neither side is a little angel in this one. both showed their asses and both took shots at eachother. it'll be interesting to see how this affects tito's future. personally, i think it would be a mistake for both sides for him to leave the ufc.

Man, I thought Cro Cop was dead for a minute. He was really fucked up. Gonzaga looked great. Wow, Cro Cop really proved all the hype. :roll1: I am really looking forward to the next Ultimate Fighter where Serra and Hughes are coaches and then they will fight for the title, that should be great. I love when the coaches hate each other.
