NCAA Football 12 + Rosters

I was thinking of adding Fanfare for new era before starting Buckeye Battle Cry for the team entrance...can anyone time to see how long the music would start in game (before they run out) to the point they start to run out?

Thanks

played my 2nd game. I'm having a helluva time passing the ball. I used to go games 22-25 for 300 yards and a few TDs. Now I'm having to run the ball mostly. Much more competitive.

Play-action is hit and miss.

I find my passing game has taken a very "West Coast" feel too it. I use alot of timing routes and the inside game. Quick passing. I don't use much PA. If I do iI make sure its on a designed rollout or somewhere to get out of the pocket. If I have a numbers advantage in the box or I feel Boom can beat someone on an ISO I'll audible to a run.

That said. I'm not too comfortable with how fast CB's come off their man to deflect passes not intended for their covered receiver.

Alright, I haven't bought EA's installments since NCAA 09, which I was still playing up until last week. I know EA improved in the last two additions, but what was disappointing for me was the complete disregard of Road to Glory, my favorite mode.

Has anybody out there had time to start a RtG and if so, any improvements? Any changes? I still play the Campus Legend mode on '09 and I know RtG was pretty much the exact same on '10 and '11. I'm going to be too broke to pick up the game anytime soon but wanted to get some feedback from the board. I do like hearing about the custom playbook option, I used the custom playmaker option on NFL2k1 for Dreamcast a shit ton. I haven't been following any reviews or build up to this game so I like hearing everyone sound off, thank you all.

I've had the same experience. Granted, I've only played a few games and in those games my QBs were Bauserman, Braxton and Taylor Martinez... so I probably shouldn't have been passing much. :-P

When I did though, it seemed tough... but I'm sure it will just be a matter of time to figure out how to read the Ds in this year's game.

Passing use to be easy.

Now you actually have to take a look at a defense fellas.

*Pressure? Blitz?

*Safeties?

*Press?

*Protections?

*Zone? Man? & Matchups.

I know I wasn't the only one doing that in '11. You guys were too. All you have to do is work on timing. If you miss a window to throw, defenses will make you pay for forcing it. Now more then ever you have to take what you're given. I like it myself.
