The noon start on Trick or Treat night is great news for us dads of little ones. I hate when life makes you chose between being a good parent and Buckeye Football. I keep telling myself that its a good thing he's a boy- He may cry now, but he'll understand when he's a dad why I was such a neglectful parent.

If you were a good parent, your son would rather watch the game.

New Mexico State likely will be trotting into the shoe with a 1-7 record

their only win is a 3 point win over freaking Prarie View A&M

their starting QB is completing 53% with 0 TD and 4 INTs (Vs Idaho Prarie View and UTEP)

just an all around terrible opponent

While widely believed to be the worst team in the FBS in the pre-season; they proved Saturday that they are only the 2nd worst. Their in-state rival, ranked in triple-digits in almost every statistical category, provided NMSU with what will almost certainly be their only FBS win of the season (20-17). New Mexico did out-gain NMSU 356 - 218; so they've got that goin' for 'em... which is nice.

Ohio State might not have a long enough bench to avoid shutting out the Aggies. Tressel will have a very hard time keeping the margin of victory under 45.

For anyone interested in checking out next week's opponent, NMSU is in the process of getting beatdown by Fresno on ESPNU.

34-3 with 10 minutes left in the 4th.

NMSU will most likely come into the game without having scored an offensive touchdown in 8+ quarters.

Over their last 4 games, they have not exceed 254 yards of offense in a game. This is a really, really bad team. Last week, they lost 45-7 to LaTech and were outgained 540-142. :yow1:

If there is ever a game that "should" be a shutout, this is it.

I love the placement of this game. Nice weak OOC opponent that we will be able to work on our offense against in preparation for a trip to Happy Valley. I will go ahead and predict:

Ohio State- 51 New Mexico state-0

having been at Ohio Stadium for the 31-27 "beatdown" of Navy, I just don't think we're gonna score that willy-nilly... and as we learned against the Spoilermakers, weak opponents make us weak.

still... I see OSU winning approximately 38-9, with Bauserman throwing a TD and rushing for one.

Jermil Martin will have about 140 yards... oh my, a tailback controversy!!

Gotta love it.

Go Bucks!!! Just win, baby!
