NFL Network and Time Warner Cable FINALLY reach agreement.

Who wants to ding the dweebus who didn't link to the topic? :p

Coqui, I believe it's set to debut by next Thursday. I've been trying to find an article that says whether it will be on the base package. All I can find thus far is that the RedZone channel, the premium counterpart to the NFL network, will be available on the Sports Tier.

It will be on Digital TV and it's supposed to start tomorrow, doesn't mean they shouldn't put it on their webpage for the channels

Luis_>ok. Well it says it's on Digital TV, I assume that's just the standard Digital TV?
Evelyn>It will be available on sport pass.
Luis_>So both Red Zone and NFL Network are on the sports pass?
Evelyn>Yes.

I'd switch to DirectTv, except, I'm not comfortable with the 2 year contract and still have reservations about storm outages. For every 1 person I hear say it's no longer an issue, I hear 3 more say they still get outages on a minor storm.

As does cable, except their outages aren't a few minutes. They are out for an hour or five. My twc Signal has gone out or been garbled at least ten times this year.

With directv, I would briefly lose it 2-4 times a year and never for entire evenings like with twc.

Not everyone can get a food signal with their lot, trees, mounting options.

I also do not have to browse through channel$ with a worthless DVR. In my four years with twc the dvr boxes have ranged from clunky to non functional. Directv and most other tv outlets mop the floor with their devices.

The only time I have ever lost cable was when the power was out. With the level of storms we've had this year, I'm still wary of satellite.

I think the tree in my backyard would present the biggest problem, but I'd need to talk to local friends with satellite that might be able to tell me better.
