Guy is still a pathological, psychotic hothead.

Him and his manager were prepared to race until the backlash was too obvious.

(That's not to assign guilt here. I'm actually leaning with others that say it was pretty idiotic to get out as drivers tend to do and yell at a car going over 50mph. But it's tragic all the way around and Smoke needed to respect the severity of the situation...the earlier reports of him going on "business as usual" showed the guy or his team are pretty callous)

This video is dark (seems like the brightness has been altered from original) and at a terrible angle. The lighting seems to come from other parts of the track. They said that Tony was trailing a car and that it swerved. It's really hard to get that (for my old eyes anyway) from the angle this was shot. The only conclusive thing I see is that a kid wearing black ran into fast moving traffic at night.

Kurt Busch: Ex was trained killer

DOVER, Del. -- The NASCAR driver known as "The Outlaw" testified Tuesday he believes his ex-girlfriend is a trained assassin dispatched on covert missions around the world who once returned to him in a blood-splattered gown.

"Everybody on the outside can tell me I'm crazy, but I lived on the inside and saw it firsthand," Kurt Busch said when his attorney, Rusty Hardin, questioned why he still believed Patricia Driscoll is a hired killer.

In an interview late Tuesday, Driscoll called Busch's assertion "ludicrous," saying he took it "straight from a fictional movie script" she has been working on for eight years and that he has proofread.
