2026 OH CB Elbert Hill (Verbal Offer)

By the time he gets to campus, they're gonna need a vaper vacuum to time him
His speed on the field catches your eye whether you focus on him or not.. Diff gear.. explosive... instantly
And he's only a soph

State playoff game, he fires in to tackle the RB but was so fast he juked and intercepted the pitch

Won't be surprised if he's a WR in college either... expect to see him there at times... playing both ways... but he needs bulk to do that...

Akron (Ohio) Archbishop Hoban blue-chip 2026 defensive back and On3’s No. 1 ranked cornerback in the class, Elbert Hill, is already making arrangements to get out and play 7v7.
He will play with South Florida Express at the Overtime OT7 Regional in Dallas next weekend.

“It’s very big now that I can go and compete with some of the best guys in the country,” Hill said.

With the OH 7on7 rule being overturned, Hill is traveling to test his talents nationally

I missed the rule being overturned. Are we finally on a level playing field with other states and sports?
I posted a link in the main recruiting thread.
But from what I understand, it only pertains to football, because football was the only sport that wasn't allowed to participate in spring/summer 7v7 camps. That's what made the rule such BS. Lacrosse, soccer, baseball, basketball, heck even cheerleading could compete in camps across the country, but football couldn't.

Not actually a whole lot there.

No 1 CB recruit in the nation for 2026. No 1 in OH. No 9 nationwide regardless of position. He has done some training with same trainer few Browns DBs use and has worked the players too, like Ward. Lots of offers and lots of visits upcoming. They probably spent half the article listing which schools have offered him.

I think the only thing new is he is now with South Florida Express, now that Ohio allows it.
