I can't remember what game it was or who ran it in, but I think it was 2 years ago, we had all the reserves in during garbage time, a RB breaks through the line and scores a TD. You can see Tressel throw his hands up because you knew he didn't want to score.

That was against Northwestern. Boom ran it in as time was either expiring, or about to expire. Also, I disagree. I don't think Tressel minded the score one bit. He may have thrown his hands in the air to make it look like he didn't want the score, but if he truly didn't want 6, he would've just taken a knee. Ever since 2004, Tress has had a little extra reminder for the Wildcats of their true place in this conference.

Northwestern in '08, otherwise known as "the Andre Ware game."

Please Tressel, don't hurt 'em.

Channel listings for the BTN broadcast of the Ohio-tOSU game.

Looks like an 'overflow' channel is being used on most systems.

Set your DVR accordingly, to not get the TSUN-UMass game by mistake.

Official.site

Last week, I had set both the Miami and Ohio games for auto-recording using DirecTV's smart search, and IIRC the Ohio game was on 610. I'll have to check and see if it was smart enough to know the change and switch the recording to 611 or if I have to manually cancel the recording and reset it to 611. Thanks for the heads-up...

Should I be upset by getting bumped to an overflow channel? We are The Ohio State University and ranked #2 in the country. Fuck Michigan and Robinson.

Two likely reasons why our game got bumped from the prime channel:
  1. Shoelaces is the shit right now in the media...I can understand the move
  2. UMass will give scUM a better game than OU will us...BTN wants to broadcast a more competitive game

Also happened 2007 with Saine against Washinton

Final Prediction:

47-7

Hmmm, I'll probably get dinged for this, but I'm predicting 35-7.

I picked Ohio to cover the spread - NOT BECAUSE I THINK THEY WILL! but if they do I have a better chance of winning the Week 3 Pick 'em!

The fan in me would like to see a good old fashioned 63-3. But it won't happen. If we are up by four scores we will see Bauserman, Guiton, Fields, etc. T-Wash could have a 5 or 6 receptions. He needs the positive reinforcement.

So, you don't think we will get our special teams problems fixed?

I think it gets fixed for the most part. I see someone on 2nd team turns the ball over deep in our territory when we're up 40-0. They score, then Tress gets mad, says a few explicitives, and ensures we get another score.

I expect a similar result to the Marshall game in this one

Ohio U's offense has looked pretty bad in their first 2 games against Wofford and Toledo

they only managed 13 points and 183 total yards at home against an awful Toledo defense last week

Boo Jackson has thrown 1 TD to 4 INTs in the 2 games

their running game has only averaged 3.7 YPC (against Wofford and Toledo)

the key to the game is chris johann. if he gets in, we could be in trouble

there's a reason this game is a 30 point spread and there is a reason Ohio State is the #2 team in the country.

Not to entirely dismiss OU and their dOUchebag fans, ok well we can dismiss their dOUchebag fans :p , but no one player on OU is going to make or break this game for them.
