Cook i think is a sure thing...Lighty i think will probably not make it cuz of the fact that he played in zero AAU games (ACL) so he is not the hot ticket right now....but you never know, he still is a five star, and whoever chooses this might want to make it into a UNC/OSU showcase.

does anyone expect Lighty to make the roster?

I think you are right when saying that Lighty will not make it b/c he is not the hot ticket. That is what it takes to get into these games alot of the time.

We will have 3 guys play in the game tho with Conley, Oden and Cook, so still a very good showing.

From Today's Dispatch.....Lighty didn't make the cut.......

The folks who run the McDonald’s All-American high school all-star basketball game trimmed their list of prospective players to 40 this week.

Three of Ohio State’s 2006 recruits made the cut: Oden and Mike Conley of Indianapolis and Daequan Cook of Dayton Dunbar.

The only other Ohioan in the top 40 is Michigan State recruit Raymar Morgan of Canton McKinley.

The final roster of 24 will be announced later this month, then divided into 12-man teams for the game March 29 in San Diego.
