ESPN - Top 3 games to watch in the Pac-10 - Pac-10

Good story on ESPN. They thank OSU and USC for having the fortitude to schedule a game like this early season.

I love the huge out of conference early season games. Kudos to the Athletic Department(s).

My first game was USC in 1990. I'm been screaming for vengence ever since.

:oh:

Damn, they've got alot coming back up front on both sides of the ball. You gotta love their LBs. They have an experienced quarterback, a Heisman Trophy-candidate TB, two very good WRs.

We're going to be green in spots on the OL. We've got a couple ?-marks on the DL.

We'll be great by November, but will still be a work in progress in September.

I don't see any way we can beat them by more than 21 points.

Whoever posted that must think that Bush and Leinart are still on the team. Last year, USC had 4 wins by 21+: Wash St., Oregon St., Notre Dame, and Idaho. This years trojans are a shadow of last year, and they haven't played a team of OSU's caliber since the 06 Rose Bowl. I hope the USC players are that overconfident. Let the USC posters talk all they want. Come Sept. 14th, one team's fans will be looking forward to the next game, and the other's will be making excuses.

Their recent records might say something about how they are not the team that won a National Championship. But, they are very tough at home and they scheduled an extra week for us. That all adds to their chances. Their fans think we'll be "shocked" by their speed. I only hope their team thinks the same way and takes us lightly(though I doubt that happens). I still think we lose a close one and that will just start their fans yapping about how over rated we are. All I know is this team will be ready and won't back down one iota. This will not be a high scoring game. That helps us.
