Not that it matters, but somehow ESPiN picking PSU across the board (every show / expert /whatever I've seen the past 2 days) makes me feel a lot better about this game. The story seems to be that these are 2 very defensively strong teams. But I think by the end we'll see that one of these defenses isn't complete (see PSU secondary). Spread 'em out and we can move the ball. I think all that running last week will give us some PA deep from the I, and some 4 or 5-wide sets early on (if for no other reason than to get some of those LBs off the field for more crappy DBs.)
Morelli is easily rattled, Boeckman has been Jekyll/Hyde (always 1 very good half and 1 bad half) -- but in the end, I think our defense and (if he's healthy) Beanie keeps this game just out of reach. I'd say something like 20 - 10.

Really? I know Colin Cowherd picked PSU, but it didn't concern me because Cowherd's an idiot and I don't think he watches sports. Unfortunately, the guys at Sportsline all picked us. Who has picked against us on ESPiN?

I didn't take any names, but pretty much all the morning shows today. I just saw Smith pick us... but... seriously ... =) (I'm really beginning to like Smith, btw -- Herbie's "unbiased" act is nice but at some point I just think he's a panderer... and that was awhile ago.)

Speaking of which... where is that infamous rail anyway? Please tell me it's in the stadium somewhere. Though it'd be equally funny if they enshrined a rail somewhere like we enshrine NCs and Heismans.
