Well, the way I see it, win out and beat a one loss Michigan and the Big Ten West Champ and we are still in the playoffs.



Can we actually do that?

Am I happy about it? Fuck no. Are we still a team that at worst has third worst record over any period of time between 2-15 years? Yes.

Can't win them all. Lot's of teams struggle when they shouldn't. Some teams are even named for it, a la Clemsoning.

I still get sick of the aura surrounding Meyer and how he runs things. Even a guy as faultlessly loyal to his staff and players as Tress was he wasn't afraid to toss a nuke every now and then or assume more of a forceful role in gameplanning if an assistant was underperforming. I'm sick of Bill Davis and even an overrated coach like Grinch (who I never liked as a hire in the first place) getting a pass every week with only the occasional passing Meyer comment about how it'll never happen again.
