Game Thread Ohio State vs. Bowling Green, 09/03/16 @ 12pm ET, BTN

People never think of the long game with Fall weddings. Sure you might be able to schedule it around a shit game or even a bye week. What happens when you have to tell your wife every year that you can't go out to dinner for your anniversary weekend because Ohio State is playing Michigan State at 8pm?

I mean, in my friends case, they're Florida fans, so they don't have anything worth watching anyway.

Alternatively, you could marry someone who loves tOSU football as much as you do (and almost as much as she loves you.) Problem solved.

My wife would just reply that tickets to the game would make a perfect anniversary present.

  • I get the sense this will be a statement game. You never know how a team is going to approach a game with a non big 5 especially when the following week is a premier matchup. Do they go in not trying to show too much? I doubt it, urban seems to like to show a lot to force additional preparation. The other side in this one is the respect urban has for bg. But if the edge is the mantra you disregard sentiment. I think all the young talent looking to cement a starting role makes this one a statement game.
