OL Nicholas Petit-Frere (1st Team All American, Tennessee Titans)

Nicholas Petit-Frere, offensive tackle for The Ohio State Buckeyes football team, signed an endorsement deal with Tampa headquartered recruiting technology company Flix CV, LLC.

“Nicholas represents our value proposition very well,” said Dianna Paxton, Flix CV Founder and CEO. “His role at Ohio State is to protect the quarterback and Flix CV technology protects businesses from making bad hiring decisions. Nicholas is progressive in being one of the first college athletes to capitalize on his name to become a company spokesperson, much like Flix CV is progressive in the application of our innovative technology to transform the recruiting process.”

“I am honored to be associated with Flix CV,” said Petit-Frere. “In football we win by executing flawlessly, and I am impressed at how Flix CV has revolutionized the process for companies to build their teams. Much like the adoption of the forward pass in football, they have completely changed the way winning companies recruit new employees.”

All the reports coming out of the first week of camp indicate that this guy has taken his game to an even higher level. One said that he’s always been in the category of wildly athletic for an offensive lineman. But now he appears to have that NFL OLine strength and is just a force!

It’s crazy to think that this OLine possibly has 3 future starting NFL Tackles starting on it with NPF, Thayer, and Paris.

NPFs name seemed to be left off the list(s) of OTs this year. Sooo, he seems to be an under-the-radar kind of guy who simply takes his lunch pail to work and quietly goes about his business. Was surprised to see how efficient he was in not letting pressure get to the QB. He also stays 'quieter' on the OL, not jumping/twitching offsides, like some tackles that have graced the Buckeye OL.....hope the NFL is watching, and it pays off for this guy. Yeah, agree agree with the above poster, two first round OT's in this upcoming draft would be pretty special, and maybe help Stud with the recruiting.

....should help Stud with his tackle recruiting.

It certainly would, pretty sure we've lost the battle to Bama on a few stud OTs because of this issue. I think both of NPF and Munford are 1st round material, I would be ecstatic if my team got either of them in the first round. Where NPF projects in the 1st round is the only question imo...with his frame, athleticism and now the strength to follow, someone is going to jump on him. But if he has an All American type season (which it sounds like he could very well do), I could even see him being a top 10 pick. Either way, I'm still kind of in shock that we got NPF and Munford back for one more year.

Yeah I find it interesting that when reading about the staff playing around with the “best 5” they send NPF over to LT. I know it’s just a package that they are apparently experimenting with but that’s a WALL!

For sure. I don't think Munford will regularly play guard, but I could see a package like that to get Dawand on the field, especially in run situations. With NPF and Munford both coming back, I think nobody expected that and you have to get Dawand on the field with the work he's put in... he's clearly a massive talent and probably our best OL come next year, so you've gotta make sure the big guy eats. But that OL you threw out is just massive, good luck whoever sees that line.

I'm from Missouri on this one......we'll see how long this 'experiment' works once the Oregon phenom (Thibideoux sp?) comes to town. Not questioning anyone's talent, or Stud's moving of the chess pieces, guess I'm from the 'if it ain't broke, don't fix it' camp. What has been rightfully billed as the 'two best tackles in the country' getting broken up seems to be a head scratcher. Best explanation I've heard is that Thayer feels (NFL analysis?) indicates his future is on the inside. OK, got it, so let's get him some salient experience at guard to enhance his draft status. Dunno. Could also be that the '2's' aren't all that polished, or present a bit of a weakness on the OL. Again, dunno. Putting Johnson in as a guard makes the best sense, and moving him to tackle next year after Thayer finishes his eligibility. Anyone heard rumblings about a 'play me or I'm transferring' gambit? It's gonna be an interesting year, so Go Bucks!

You don't think the staff sees NPF and Dawand in practice every day against Harrison, Tyreke, Sawyer, JTT, and JJB? That's some talent right there.
