We have an old 27 inch tv that stopped working last week and I'm trying to figure out how to get rid of it. I'm guessing that it isn't as simple as putting it out with the trash. If worst comes to worst I'll just find a dumpster and toss it. Any ideas?

Put a For Sale sign on it... $100 ... and leave it outside

    It'll be gone by morning

Set it out in the trash anyway. If the trash collectors don't take it, somebody out junking will.

I don't know how many time's I've scheduled a bulk pick-up only to have no "bulk" left for them to pick up once the neighborhood is done picking thru it.

I say put it out at the curb and forget about it. It's as good as gone.

If your work has a dumpster, dump it there... if not then I would drive to the closest strip mall, go behind the mall, and dump it in an open dumpster... This would be done at dusk of course :wink2:

Good idea, but rather than a TV aquarium, get an old school electronic football game and put that in there.

Get coltsfan16 to repaint the figs as miniature Ohio State and Michigan players, then you can watch The Game whenever you want.

The garbagemen should take it. I've never had a problem with giving them a tv.

How about I just give it to him and he can drop it off the side of the boat when he's fishing. :p

As long as he's shooting at it as he's throwing it in the water we'll have a win-win!!!
