Boise has a really good chance of playing for the National Championship

If they do, it is time to blow up the system. Their schedule is a joke. They upset Oregon at home - whoopee. Purdue lost by 2 at Oregon, before losing by 7 at home to Northern Illinois.

Boise has Tulsa left to play. Tulsa just lost 45-0 at Oklahoma. Bowling Green might be Boise's toughest opponent.

The Broncos get way too much respect based off one flukey upset of Oklahoma in a bowl game a few years ago. It's ridiculous.

I personally think that teams will either not drop enough or jump them due to opponents being played. Plus the fact that 3 of the bigger conferences play a CG helps those conferences over Boise. If OSU beats PSU later in the year and they sit right behind Boise(who plays La Tech that day) OSU will jump them or PSU will stay up there if they win. Then add in the Big 12 and SEC teams and Boise really doesn't have a chance. Cal running the table blows em up too.

Boise State is the real deal and has been for a number of years now. They do play lesser caliber opponents in their division, but when they play better competition the result is usually the same.

Really?

Boise has lost one WAC game in five years, and yet they have lost 4 of their last 5 bowl games. All four of those teams had multiple losses before beating BSU, who was undefeated going into 3 of those 5 bowls.

As I said earlier, the Broncos get way too much respect based on one flukey bowl win over Oklahoma.

Boise plays no defense and moves up. We shut out a very good Toledo offense and move down. It's a [censored]ing beauty contest. Frankly I don't think you can get much more flawless than shutting someone out. I watched that Boise St.-Fresno game, and you are fooling yourself if you think that Boise is better than OSU. They are a mid teens type team at best.

FWIW, Penn St. will be exposed very soon. They are not nearly the team they were last season.

How does Oklahoma keep pulling this off?

1). Making it to the title game in '03 despite getting trashed by KSU in the B12 title game?

2). Leapfrogging UT into the title game last year despite losing head to head?

3). Leapfrogging us in the polls despite losing to freakin BYU in Dallas, a team that just got annihilated by FSU?

B12 football and Oklahoma are really bothering me a lot.

Coaches poll available in the link now. I have no clue whats going on. I thought beating a 1-1 team 38-0 is pretty good. The only loss OSU has is on a last drive from the 3 ranked team in the country and they think a Va Tech win over Nebraska basically on a last second play is worthy of them moving up but OSU can't move up. Well It shows that OSU needs like 20 teams to lose then. And Washington didnt move really that close to the top 25 still but USC only drops 7. OKLA dropped 11 spots to a team they moved to the top 10 who got beat easily. I'm confused.

FWIW we want PSU to keep winning. We need them to help us.

Did that defense on Friday night look like the real deal to you?
